Surveyor in West London
I qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1971, and, since that time, have been involved with the building surveying side of the profession. For the last five years I have been self-employed, whereas prior to that I was in employment in the West End of London, and then became a partner in a surveying practice in the City of London for twelve years.

At the moment most of my work comes from longstanding clients and customers who are directed to me by word-of-mouth. Many of my customers are domestic, but a number of small businesses are also involved.
Many of my customers are located in the west, south west and north-west postcodes in London, as well as within the UB and HA postcodes, but my work currently carries me far and wide. I have recently undertaken surveys in Sevenoaks, Kent and also in Chippenham, Wiltshire.
I do not have any major customers, most being individuals and small companies, and this includes property companies.
Some five years ago I decided to set up my own building surveying practice, and I have been involved with building surveying work since that time, this following on from some 35 years in employment and partnership doing very similar work.
What sets me apart from the competition is devotion to the work, a breadth of knowledge and wide experience gained over many years.
